This Volkswagen Beetle is covered entirely in a patchwork of handmade vintage fabric from the Middle East. It is part of the Milan Design Week 2010 exhibitions.
I had to share it with you, 2010 is my year for vintage floral dresses and this car looks just fabulous!
This exact Beetle went on auction on ebay from april 14th – 20th, with all proceeds going to a children’s benefit for Haiti. The final bid was just 1,004 Euros. I’d totally bid for it if I had heard about it sooner, imagine, a car for only S$2,000+.
